-
The Growbaby Christmas Boutique gives parents and carers facing financial hardship the chance to choose Christmas presents for their own children. Rather than simply handing out pre-packed gifts, we want parents to be part of choosing something their child will love. Each family receives a gift bundle worth around £30.
-
Not necessarily. The gifts and amounts on our website represent the kind of things your donation can help us provide. Your money goes towards filling the Growbaby Christmas Boutique with a great range of age-appropriate gifts so parents and carers have plenty to choose from.
-
Money given through the Growbaby Christmas Appeal is used for our Christmas activities, including gifts for the Boutique and the Festive Fun Day. We use donations where they are most needed to create the best possible Christmas experience for the families we support.
-
Absolutely. You can give any amount to the Growbaby Christmas Appeal. We’ll use your donation where it can make the biggest difference across our Christmas activities.
-
The amounts reflect the real costs of providing gifts and Christmas activities this year. Whether you give £5, £10, £30 or more, your donation joins with the generosity of others to make everything possible.
-
Our Festive Fun Day gives families the chance to enjoy some proper Christmas fun together. For some, it may be the only Christmas party they attend this year. Donations towards the Fun Day help cover the cost of creating a welcoming celebration where families can relax, have fun and make happy memories together.
-
The Well Christmas Lunch is a separate Restore Northampton Christmas project. It brings together people we support and spend time with throughout the year for a warm Christmas meal, conversation and company with our volunteers. Donations made specifically to the Christmas Lunch will help us make that gathering possible.
-
We work with local families and individuals who are facing financial hardship or difficult circumstances. Many are people Restore Northampton already walks alongside through its projects and support throughout the year.
What happens if you receive more donations than you need for one particular part of the appeal?
We use Christmas donations where they are most needed across our Christmas activities so that your generosity can have the greatest possible impact for local families.
-
Yes. Christmas happens because lots of people give what they can. A £5 donation might feel small on its own, but put alongside hundreds of other gifts it becomes part of something amazing for families across Northampton.
I’d definitely include that last question. It reinforces the message that people do not need to spend £30 or £50 for their gift to matter.

Your business could organise a Christmas gift collection, run a workplace fundraiser, make a company donation or encourage staff and customers to support the appeal. You could also choose to fund part of our Growbaby Christmas Boutique or help provide places for families at our Festive Fun Day.
Whether you are an independent Northampton business, a local shop, school, church or a larger employer, there are plenty of ways to get involved.
